Maytag dishwasher 300 series, start/cancel pad is not working. All other pads work.
I choose cycle, shut the door, and click on start/cancel pad but nothing happens.
If I press the delay time pad and select the time delayed (1HR) - it starts flashing, select the cycle "normal wash", and select the start/cancel, nothing happens and the flashing of the delay time stops and nothing is lit, all lights go off. I wait 1Hr and nothing works. |

I have a Maytag series 300 and the normal wash and the start buttons quit working all of a sudden. All the other buttons seem to be working fine. It should also be noted that these 2 buttons are the most frequently ones used.
A few days ago my girlfriend complained that the dryer wasn't working properly. She said that she hit the START button and it wouldn't start. But then followed later with, I checked the door and it's fine. Yesterday I am doing laundry and the dryer is running fine for the first three loads....
I have a Kenmore 300 series dryer, purchased on 10/1/07, and the dryer will work, but only blow cool air, and the timer doesn't not work, I was wondering if there was some sort of reset switch on the dryer, or is there a fuse that needs to be replaced?
