He is one of my best friends. He's the second closest guyfriend I have, and we fought a lot a little time back. But he said sorry and so did I and we're talking fine now. We went out a couple of days back with a couple of friends and all we did was talk to each other. It was evident we missed each other like HELL! And we love each other like brother and sister. But, now after not talking so long I realize how much I like him, and I'm starting to develop a crush on him. A small one though. I liked him a long time back once, but it was very small and doesn't even count as a crush. It has nothing to do with this. I don't want to have a crush on him. My last crush did not end well. I ended up cutting myself, 20-30 times! And I don't want to go through that again. I want everything to be normal! Like it use to be. Just us. Best friends.

Well for one cutting yourself over a guy isn't good. And if you are worried your crush won't end well don't tell him you like him. But maybe you two should just remain friends at the risk of you all going out you may ruin your alls friendship in the process and you probably don't want to do that.

A crush will pass if you let it, and don't get carried away by your own feelings that can get pretty intense at times. Do other things you like, with other people so your feelings can be better balanced and you won't just focus on the attractions to him until you can get a better grip on them.

We humans, especially young and inexperienced ones often find ways to deal with ourselves and cutting is not a good way to deal with your pain, or disappointments.

Good clean fun activities you love to do are. Then you won't have time for that negative stuff. Have you talked to a trusted adult about this cutting issue?
