    My intertherm electric furnace kept getting hotter and hotter, doesn't shut down heat
    Have to shut it down manually, sometimes the blower doesn't respond to the thermostat.

    Probably need a new heat sequencer

    Had a heating man out. For future reference, the Intertherm Furnace (electric) had an element assembly with two elements. The one on top had broken and fallen onto the bottom one causing an arc which welded them together. If we hadn't been home, this could have burned the house down as it did not trip the breaker. WHEW.
