    Child Abandonment
My 4 yr old was being sexually abused by his father, he was never convicted. He has not paid child support in well over a year he has not seen or attempted to contact our son in about 10 months. I have had children services involved and nothing was done regarding this situation. Our son even told law enforcement officers and children services a detailed description of what happened to him. My question is does anyone know if I'd be possibly win an abandonment case regarding the entire situation? I'm losing faith because NO ONE seems to be doing anything to him for doing this to a child!

Then you are going about it the wrong way, madam. Any person sexually abusing a child, and having police and child services involved HAS TO GO SOMEWHERE.

If I knew you and he, I would just love to get involved, but unfortunately that can't possibly happen.

He is your son, madam and how could you not have this man prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law when you have proof?

Are you too afraid to bring closure to this ? It sounds like it to me. Get your act together, and out from under and have something done for that child.

No one should go scott free after abusing a child.
