    Will I go to jail for third dagree theft
    I said yes to stealing an iPod touch at school but there is no prof of me actually taking it, and I am already doing community service for a negeligent driving offence would this have any affect on me because I'm not suppost get any criminal things or I could face jail time how could I not go to jail for this I would pay all the fines but I would really love not to go to jail how bad could this get?

    If they did not have any proof, why did you cofess ?

    First I would not say another word without talking to my parents and an attorney. Yes it can have an effect, while I doubt you would do real jail time, a weekend or two at most but most likely a higher level of probation, fines and money to pay to the store.
