We have a 2002 Chevy Venture LS Extended with one power sliding door on the passenger side and it hasn't worked since we bought the van 3 years ago. It costs too much just to diagnose the problem so I thought I would try here. When you push the button inside the door, nothing happens. When you push the 'open' button on the console up front, still nothing happens. When you manually open the sliding door, it is very hard to open and you really have to heave. I'm guessing since the power feature doesn't work, it makes the door harder to operate manually. Please help. Even if I could get the door to open easier and more smoothly, I wouldn't care so much about the power option to open it.
