    Surgery for endometriosis?
Hi I had a lap done in oct 2009 and they also drained an ovarian cyst-then did a d and c. The gyn/ob I was seeing at the time who did the surgery was not really an expert on endo but she did diagnose me with stage 3. Then she told me she did not really treat endo especially because I still want to have children one day. So my primary care doc sent me to a new doctor he is head of the ob/gyn dept of a major hospital here also he is a fertility doc and does reproductive endocranology. He wants to do two surgeries on me in may-a laser pelviscopy and also a hydrotubation. Has any other women here have surgeries like this with any success? He is doing it for two reasons-first my endo is causing a lot of pain and second we do still want to have kids. This is as far as I can take things my insurance does not cover any fancy fertility treatments or anything.

I am beginning to worry whether I will even get my period for may? I had my last one April 6 then we were still having unprotected sex until I saw the doc April 14th. Although we did not have any sex about one or two days prior to my apt. after I saw the doc we began using condoms because they said no unprotected sex until after the surgery. Anyway they said they cannot do the surgery if I am on my period at the time and it is best to do it right after my period is over. Just worried if I somehow got pregnant this month or if my period maybe delayed due to stress? Our chances of getting pregnant seem very small suppossedly one of my falliopian tubes is blocked. Just lately I am feeling very tired all of the time-i keep wanting to take naps which is not like me... maybe this is pms? My next period should be due may 2 2010.
