Removing cast iron pipe from cement wall
Under our kitchen sink there was a cast iron "Y" connected to the pipe in the wall. Our home is made of cement block and it looks like the pipe in the wall is surrounded by cement. The problem we had a leak coming from the where the cast iron "Y" piece joins into the cast iron pipe in the wall. The piece was rusted and when removed the pipe left in the wall had damage to the end where you would attach a new piece the total amount of pipe coming out of the wall is maybe 1/8 - 1/4 of and inch ansd part of that was rusted and broke off. Any advice would be so helpful . Thank You
