    Pension Withdraw
My husband lost his job a few weeks ago. We decided to withdraw his pension from Inter-Local Pension Fund and put it into a retirement fund, but we are going to keep out a small amount to help us stay afloat because I am also unemployed. The money he put in was after taxes and they say that there will be no penalty. My question is why are we being told that it will take 6-8 weeks for the board to review our request. He actually resigned from the union May/09 but just lost his job April/10. Why does it take them so long to send us our money, we have 2 car payments and other household expenses plus we lost our insurance.
