    Normal wire common wire
I am replacing the foot control switch on my electric trolling motor. I have forgotten where each wire goes. There are 3 wires red, white , black on the motor and on the bottom of the switch there are 2 spots to connect the wires. One is labelled common the other is labelled normal. Which color goes where?

    Thanks

Can you get a wiring diagram from the manufacturer?
There is no standard color code for things like this.
