Before you buy new try to confirm that your units blue wire and neutral are tightly connected. Is there just one wall switch or two? Tell us how you control this unit.

THe fan has been up for 10 yrs. The flickering just started. When I changed the light bulbs I noticed that 2 of the spotlights where loose. There is one wall switch. But we use the remote control all the time.

You might have an easier time just changing the sockets. Most True Value/Ace Hardwares sell sockets separately.
