    How to get certified copy of my birth certificate which is isuued from india
    I am residing in US, I am indian born us citizen, I have my original birth certificate, in case of my brothers immigrants visa US Immigtation asking me to send my Original or certified copy of my birth certificate. I have only one origial birth certificate. I don't want to send original one. I want to send Certified copy of my Birth Certificate, Let me know How I can get certified copy of my Birth certificate in US.

    There is are only two ways to do this, send your original (which is a requirement for a new passport or visa, in any country - all original documents) or take the time to get it from India. Or you can visit the immigration office and present your documents for purusal.
