    Mucus in period
OK I'm very worried because my mother has this thing that happens to her once in a while. So she can be OK and then she starts sweating cold, feeling dizzy, and then passes out; then she throws up and feels perfect again. WHat can be wrong with her? She has gone to the doctor and they say she's in great condition but obviously that's not normal. She is 41 years old almost 42. This happened to her yesterday, it hadn't happen in like 5 months. I get that sometimes too only I don't throw up. Please help! Thanks

What's that got to do with having mucus in her period - could you be more specific please?

If she's losing consciousness then that's serious I would suggest - I'd suggest she go to another doctor and get a second opinion.

Repiritory acidosis or alkalosis are terms that define "fainting," by having either too much oxygen or too much CO2 in the blood. Carboxlhemoglobanemia, a big word for too much CO2 taking up room in the blood cell, not allowing enough room for the oxygen. A long shot, but if you have a gas furnace, get it checked (which should be done every year). Does she drive an old car with bad exhaust?
