I am 6-8wks pg and haven't seen an obgyn because no one is seeing medicaid patients?
I am 6-8wks pregnant and have yet to see an obgyn due to no doctors excepting medicaid patients I've tried at least 15 doctors. I'm really getting frustrated because no one wants to see me and I've been having pains in my right ovary area! What should I do?

Ahhh, just replied on your other post. Some women will experience some cramping/aches in early pregnancy, and throughout as well sometimes, but certainly you will want to be seen by someone for the peace of mind. Call one of the OBs and ask the receptionist for information about Healthy Start... or check online for a contact near you.
You will be provided with much information, including getting into an OB or midwife.

I've tried everything I'm 6-8wks pregnant and have called at least 15 doctors and none are excepting medicaid patients I've tried 1800 numbers to help find obgyns everything and I'm going crazy! So basically they aren't going to help me because I have medicaid! Its frustrating! And a lot of obgyns don't except patients who are 12wks or more pregnant so I'm stuck by the time I find a dr they won't even take me!

Have you tried a health clinic? Or even a pregnancy place? I've been to a health clinic to get seen before & they except medicaid its where I take my son.

Try these (Healthy Start contacts)... they should be able to get things sorted out for you... they are in your general area.

You must be near Gottlieb Hospital. (I went to Concordia and used to live in Forest Park.) Here's the page on the Web site for someone in your situation:

    Financial Assistance

Call them for info and to find a doctor near you.
