    In Sex and The City, why does the viewer forgive Mr Big for everything he's done?
    Me and a friend were discussing this the other day...

    Big can be a horrible man. He cheats on his wife with Carrie, he is egotistical and often mean, and yet we are always hoping that the two of them end up together. How do you think the writers achieved this?
