    Slow file transfers
So here's an odd one for you all.
Machine: XPS1710, Win7 Ent, fully patched, gig network.

This was a clean build and not an upgrade.

When I move large amounts of data (GIG files) off this machine runs fine at 8-10 Megbytes/sec, but moving data onto machine runs VERY slow, 1-2 meg and the whole machine is like moving through jelly.
Huge CPU load and generally unusable.

I have replaced the standard windows NIC driver with the OEM's one, but still happens.

Not really to sure if this is a network issue, windoze or hardware.

    Any ideas ?
