I am very bad at dating and relationship. I am 35 y.o women. I never had problem with attracting a man, but it was very difficult after the first date. It takes me very long to get used and trust people. And I obviously lack confidence. I could never keep any relationship. When I got 28, I decided that it was the way I was. I married a man who was almost a stranger to me, but was very passionate for me. Have a son from him. Now I am divorced and happy to be a mother. We lived together for 3 years and I have never been happy with him. As I did not know him enough, it turned out that he very special to say the least - he did not have friends, did not like music, guest, bars, talking... But my question is not about him. We split up about 2 years ago. I had a lot of trouble due to this marriage. To explain it very shortly, I did not have sex for the last 4 years. I have the same problem with dating in addition to the fact that I have less time for it also. I want to find a partner, even if it is only for sex. I do not know where to start from.

I think you take your time and make good friends, before you complicate things with sex. I can understand your desire for the physical, but I strongly advise you to date around for a while and take your sweet time to do things in a mature adult way, and have sex with someone who has earned your trust, and deserves your respect.

Also an active social life with both male, AND female friends, to keep you balanced while you search for the right friend to have benefits with.

Don't get desperate, it will happen, so relax and enjoy the process in a healthy way.
