Former h1b & now living overseas, what form to use to file taxes for interest income?
    Hi All,

I used to work in the U.S. with an H1b visa. I am no longer living in the US but I am still receiving some interest income from savings that I have in my US bank accounts. What tax forms do I need to file?

    Thanks.

If you are not a resident of U.S. bank interest is not taxable.
You should file W8-BEN with bank to report your nonresident status.
