    Presence in the Room
    To the point,

Last few nights have been disturbed in my sleep around 3am. My dreaming is broken and I am awoken partly by the feeling something is in my bedroom, in this halfway awake stage I see a woman standing beside my bed, can't really make out details of her but she is tall and wearing a darkly coloured dress has a hat or shroud on her head and just stands there. She neither says nor does anything but I can feel her presence as clearly as I feel my partner sleeping beside me, but what I feel from her is anger, anguish, sadness, annoyance but not evil. She seems bothered or needs help. Anyway this scares me and I jump and grab my partner who usually jumps up and turns on the light. And nothing is there once the light is on and my partner does not see nor feel anything (however he is not really sensitive to normal feelings)

This has happened for a few nights now however last night there was a man beside her, his face was badly scarred or burned and pretty messed up, I could really only make out his mouth and where his eyes should be. But the scariest thing is unlike his female counterpart who just stands there, he actually lunged towards me after a second or so to which I jumped away across my bed and landed on my partner. The women just remained standing quietly.

The feelings I get from this man are not nice, he is very angry and violent and whilst I wouldn't say evil, he certainly isn't good. I also sensed he enjoyed scaring me.

I don't know what is happening, this isn't a dream or nightmare as I can feel them and it only happens at around 3am. It's a different feeling than a bad dream. I am scared to talk to them or seek help to remove for fear it might annoy them and I don't want them starting to get creative. I am slightly empathic and sensitive to others emotions and wonder if this is why they are targeting me?

I don't know who they are or why they are there? Has anyone got any advice on resolving this?

Do you know any history about the home where you live, please?

    Thanks!

    Hi Clough,

I have been trying to investigate any history regarding my area but with no luck, My block of land has been subdivided so its my house at the back (which is about 2 yrs old) and the original house at the front which is about 40 or so years old. There haven't been any recorded mishaps in my area or on my land. I might try to see if I can trace owners of the front house. The woman's clothes suggest she is from the 40's or 50's (very conservative style)

I recently had my parents visit and stay in my room and they didn't mention any problems and nor did there dog that slept with them (dogs are usually sensitive to these things) but then again it only started after they left.

I will try further investigation and update if I find anything.

    Thanks

Do you feel that the apparitions are a part of your home or maybe from somewhere else?

I am not sure, funny thing is I swapped sides of my bed with my partner and they didn't appear at all to me or my partner. Yet I can feel a heaviness in my home now.

They are definatley only interested in me and appearing to me. We thought maybe they were connected to the front house (the old one) as I can't imagine who they would be if they were connected to me, as I don't recognise them.
