    Personal Fundraising for Non-Profit organization
I want to make a generous contribution to a University. However, I am on a very limited and fixed income as I lost my employment in December 2010 and have been unsuccessful at a replacement. As a Senior Citizen, I am seeking ways to raise money for this University and would appreciate suggestions.
    Thank you in advance.

First not all colleges are non profits, is there a specific type of donation you wish to make , to a specific department

Have you talked to them about legal issues of using their names in a fund raiser, you will have to get their permission and release to use their name
