I'm trying to find a movie I watched when I was very young, maybe 6 or 7. It was my first anime experience. I watched it in the early 90's, but it could have been made in the 80's, I'm not sure. I don't remember much about it, other than it was about fairies, or pixies/sprites, living in a forest, it had something to do with seasons, possibly winter, and I remember thinking the animation was beautiful, and the sound effects were cool. I also remember liking it because there were absolutely no 'humans', or none of normal size, in the film. The fairies were tiny, and looked like orbs when viewed far away and flying, and they had something to do with flowers. Thinking of it now, the faces of the fairies I see in my mind remind me of Chihiro from Spirited Away. I thought that maybe it was a Studio Ghibli film, but I can't seem to find it on their lists... I'd be eternally grateful if anyone could help!
