    Kitchen sink water doesn't get hot
    My 87 year old mom just bought a house and plumbing all seams fine except water never really gets ot in the kitchen sink. The dishwasher (new per seller of house) doesn't go through the cycle correctly and just keeps washing. Mom can't fford a plumber so you are it.

    From your post I will assume other faucets do get hot so the problem is just at the kitchen sink, right? Most likely a clogged hot inlet on the kitchen faucet. Shut off both supplies to the faucet and remove the cartridge or stem. Clear debris, hold a towel tightly over the hole and turn the supply on and then off to flush the lines. Let me know if you have any trouble with my directions

Up until a few weeks ago, the kitchen sink had hot water. The single handle faucet runs water when turned to hot, but just a little Water runs and it is not hot. All other plumbing works fine, dishwasher runs hot water, as do the Clotheswasher and showers.
