What Sort of Things Do You Like to Put on a Ham Prior to Baking it, Please?
    Hi, All!

The title is my question. Am getting ready to put a small ham in the oven.

Let's see... cloves inserted in it, pineapple on top, pinnapple juice in the dish in which it's being baked.

What else might be good to add, please?

    Thanks!

    Too late probably.

The sauce I use is made from crushed pineaple, brown sugar and like 1 tbs of corn starch. You put the pineapple and brown sugar mix into the microwave until it clears. I think it's about 8 oz can of crushed with juice and 1/4 cup brown sugar. I think.

I put whole cloves into the ham, made a brown sugar glaze and added rings of pineapple to the top of it.

    Thanks!

I know I'm too late, but I use orange marmalade and honey and cloves.

    How was your ham?

I hadn't even considered using orange marmalade and honey! Will try that the next time!

The ham turned out to be a big success! :)
