    vinyl railing
Looking at installing a vinyl railing for a friend. They are having paving stones laid for their porch. Can I install the torpedo's straight to the pavers, or will I need additional support?
    Thanks for any input

We have a bit of a language variation here so let me be sure we are talking about the same thiung. Pavers laid on the ground are not a porch but are considered a patio, right so far? The railing is not decorative but will actually be a hand rail folks will put a load on, right? If this is the case you can not attach to the stone and need to get a verticle post into the ground 8' apart pr less. Can you post a piocture of what you are installing?

I don't have any pictures. My bad on the porch, it is a patio. You basically confirmed what I thought. Basically it looks like I will have to do it almost like installling a fence. With going 4' down below frost line with the 2 supports. The other end will be attached to the house. Making a L shape. Thanks
