    Hampton bay ceiling fan removal
I am romoving a ceiling fan from my living room and moving it to my bedroom. I will be replacing the old fan with a new one. The problem is, I can't get it down. I removed all the screwws holding it up there but now it is just dangling there. Usually when I take down a fan, it will hang down so I can remove the wires. This one only hangs down about 3/8 in. from the ceiling. It doesn't even clear the top of the mounting bracket. Any suggestions?
