Oral rental contracts
Ok so I have an oral agreement with my tenent that no one with children is to move into the small 612 sq ft cottage he is renting from us.He is now trying to move in a woman with children .What I want to know is if my oral contract will stand up in small claims court if this goes that far? For a little more information this is a convcited felon I would be fighting against would my word over power his?

Since this would be a 30 day month to month rental anyway ( correct ?) if they move in merely give them notice evict.a ** Take the business of renting serously, if you think it is important enough to put into saying it, put it in writing next time. Be firm, let them know if they move the family in, you will have to evict them. ** based on the most common US law |
