    If someone leaves property at my house
    If ex boyfriend used my basement for storage for personal large items and doesn't come for them, is it my right to keep it.

    Each state in the US has its own specific rules, but normally you have to give them legal notice to get the items and a time frame to do so.

    You will need to do it all in writing so if he latter sues you for the value you can prove you tried to get him to come get it
