Sales to close ratio in a particular period
What is the right method of calculating sales to close ratio in Insurance Business?
    Example:
Sales and completion data of an insurer are given below:

Jan 2010: Sales - 100 proposals. Converted to policy is 80
Feb 2010: Sales - 200 proposals. Converted to policy is 190

In the above scenario what would be the sale to close ratio for Feb 2010?

    80 closed to 100 presentations: 80%

    195 closed to 200 presentations: 95%

If I understand what you are asking it is that simple. Divide the closed number into the presentations.
