 I am from Canada & received a $2000.00 honorarium for a meeting I attended in the US. The check was issued to my company which is incorporated. I received a 1042S. Do I need to file a US tax return?

 I have been used F1 for 7 years, and then transferred to H1-b for academic for 4 years. I filed my tax with 1040 form since 2000. My H1-b was changed from academic to industry last year on October and I don't have working permission in states from Jan to Sep in 2008. I went back to my country...

 Hi, I am a non-US person with a brokerage account in US. I recently received a 1042-S for dividend income that I received where witholding taxes were withheld at the rate of 30%. I don't believe that my country of citizenship has any tax treaties with US for taxes. So I had a few questions...
