    Songs from a compilation tape around 1996
    Hi I hope you all can help as this is driving me mad there are two songs from this compilation tape that I heard around 1995 -1996 give or take a year the first song is an instrumental but with some words at the beginning it goes like this "in the beginning god created heaven and earth then god said let there be light and there was light and" and it goes into instrumental

    The second song which unfortunately the only words I know I believe have are "voodoo child cries village" I hope you can help I would most appreciate it

    I also believe there is a song on this tape that has something to do with the thunderbirds but not to sure based on the puppet show and not the film

    The first one sounds like something from Enigma - either MCMXC A.D. or The Cross of Changes.

    The second one, I'm not sure about. There is a song called "Voodoo Child" by Jimi Hendrix.

    First one sounds exactly like old breakbeat/hardcore track by DNA - La Serenissima, the Isotonik mix from around maybe 93

    The samples been used loads but that's the most famous one

    Not a clue about 2nd one
