78 c10 rearend
How do I tell if I have a 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, or 1 ton rearend in my 78 c10 scottsdale? I have put a lot of time and money into bringing this beauty back from the dead, she runs strong but very slow take off. When I rebuilt the tranny I added a 2500 stall but she takes off like I'm stepping on the brakes... any ideas?

I have an 85 GMC Jimmy that the rearend has gone out. I would like to know if the stock gear ratio is the 3.73 or 4.11, or did it vary. Thanks

I recently bought a 1978 Chevy C10 that is 4 wheel drive. I was told it was completely stock. I have since read that the C10's were all 2 wheel drive and the K10's were 4 wheel drive. What's the deal? Thanks!
