What type of dropped ceiling? What is size of tile?

There is a tile made with fiberglass backer that can be used. Need 4'' clearance to get tile in and out.

The tile that are cellulose need 8'' for easy install and removal

You seem to be referring to a suspended ceiling with the 2'x 4' accoustical tiles.
It all depends on how the ceiling is framed. If it is framed a little too small, you will have this problem.
You can carefully trim the tiles down so that bthey fit a little looser.
It really isn't the type of ceiling that seems to be your problem.

    Hi Ben

What framing are u talking about? The grid for suspended ceiling is a preset size and panels are made to fit. If there is not enough head room above grid will be hard getting tile out.

Does a 20 amp breaker require 12/2 wiring? Also, is there a standard number of outlets and lights (2x2 flourescents) that are standard on a 15 amp breaker (code states 2,880 watts maximum, but I don't know how many outlets this equals).
