    Cd-rw , cd 700mb can be used more than once 1- 1000 times
    Dvd-r 4700mb used once
    Dvd +r 4700 mb used once but you can do some editing on it

I want to convert my vhs tapes to dvd. I understand that I will need a analog to Dvd converter. The equipment I have looked at has a vhs and dvd recorder. The specifications say that the analog to dvd recorder converts vhs to mp4. Will mp4 work in any dvd player?
