    I'm a teenage alcoholic who's dating a pill popper
:(I just recently started going out with this girl who pops a lot of pills, but that's OK with me because I abuse drugs on occasion and I'm a 16 year old alcoholic who tastes and smells like cigarettes:(
In reality she is the greatest girl I have ever met, she's so fun to be around and I never cease to smile when I'm with her. Sometimes I often think she tries to impress me with stories about crazy trippy nights and drugged out fun she has, most of the time I think she's lying, but sometimes it still worries me, I don't want to see her hurting herself
I'm not so sure what to do, could I make a bargain with her, like, if she quit abusing pills I'll quit the booze and the smoking, but I don't want to come across like I'm trying to put a stop to her fun and individuality
Is there a good way to aproach this situation with her:confused::confused:

The only person you can change is yourself. She is probably comfortable with you to some extent because you also use, and don't judge her.

You could lead by example, and deal with your own addiction. You may find though, that once you are clean, she may not be so attractive to you because you have less in common.

If you wanted to approach her and talk about both of you making changes together, that would be good for both of you of course, but I get the impression that you are ready to take those steps, but she isn't. Maybe I'm wrong.

Could be she's looking for a way too.
