    Eviction law
    I am currently living with my grandmother who has put her home on the market to be sold there was an offer and sopposely the house was sold I am now being told to leave the premises by next month and the there is no closing date given is this a illegal eviction.

    It's not an illegal eviction unless you are kicked out without a court order. Since you haven't been kicked out yet and you've already been given notice the first steps have been taken for a legal eviction. If you haven't left by the date that you were told then they can file a lawsuit for eviction.

    If you are given a 30 day notice you are suppose to leave, if not they can go to court to have you removed. ** you don't want this on a your record.

    The house does not even have to sell, also what amount of rent are you paying
