How do I appeal a eviction
I with held a portion of my rent to pay for a very high water bill that was created from a major leak under the house. The landlord fixed the leak but refuses to pay the water bill damage now he served me with a three day pay or quit. What do I do?

You don't move, he files for an eviction in court and you fight it there

    OR

You pay him, then you turn around and sue him for the money back in small claims court.
** and don't risk eviction if you have a lease. If you don't have a lease, of course he can just get mad and still evict you

So you really don't have a lot of choices, you wait, go to court and hope the jduge agrees with you, But you will have to have all of the rent money to pay up to date, the day of court.

But if the judge does not agree with you, be ready to move within the week
