I want to raise money for an orphanage in mexico, what are the legal implications?
I live in Northfield, IL and I for a school project I will be raising money. The cause is an orphanage in Guanajuato, Mexico called "Ciudad de los Ninos". I want to send out flyers in my community and start a website with information on the orphanage so people can send money out there. No money will go through me. What are the legal implications?

People will have to know this is a legitimate venture before they send money to a foreign country. How did you find this orphanage in Mexico ?

Is this through the school and are they behind it ?
