I'm having aproblem lighting the burners. When I turn on any burner for ignition, the ignitor works but I don't hear any gas. So if I turn on the knob without stopping at the ignition setting and listen, there is no gas coming from the burner and no smell. If you wait usually less than 30 seconds you will suddenly hear the gas come out, then turn the knob to ignition and it lights. This happens on all burners, but once one burner lights they all will light independently until you let it sit for a little time. (Narural Gas).

Have you tried calling your local utility? Lots of times they will do a free home check. It sounds like you are somehow getting or haven't evacuated air that formed in the lines. Do you have other gas appliances in the home like water heater or furnace ?

All other gas appliances work fine. This cooktop has been in my house for 8 years. This problem started some time ago and has gotten worse.
My gas company doesn't have service, but will send a sub for a fee.

Does the same thing happen when you turn on the oven? It sounds strange that there is a delay and no gas. Then gas rushs out. Im not quite sure how its doing that.

This is a cooktop, with a separate electric wall oven. I'm confused also. If I don't get any ideas here, I'll drive to the local parts house and speak with the owner next week.
    Thanks for replying.
