    Washer Model PAV2300AWW is extremely noisy on spin cycle, sounds like a jet engine.
    During a spin cycle, the washer sounds like a jet .

    Two common issues with this design... one is a water pump failure. Prove by leaning unit back and remove drive belt. Pump pulley (metal pulley in right rear or right front corner) should turn freely and easily with no grinding or "grittiness". Otherwise will likely be a failed tub seal, which allows water into the upper spin bearing on top of the transmission. If the pump is bad, you might choose to replace it yourself, as its not that hard. If the tub seal has failed, you would be best helped by a technician, as it is quite involved and expensive. Sometimes, so expensive that it isn't worth it. Good luck.
