    Limit switch is open rheem
I have a Rheem furnace Criterion II that will not blow air. I can hear the gas flame kick in but the blower never starts. The LED on the control board blinks 3 times then off for 2 seconds which is suppose to indicate limit switch open. Should I rely on this and replace the limit switch? Is their a way for me to test the switch removed from the furnace with a VOM meter and a heat gun?

The limit switch might have a reset in the center. Try that first.
