    Misplaced Mobile Home Title
    Selling mobile home on block foundation and property together. Do I have to have title of mobile home on signing day? State: KY

    Yes, you merely get a replacement title from the agency that does that in your state. Here it is the DMV

    If your home's title was not surrendered to the county and the home incorporated into the property by the county, then yes, you do. If this is a modular home, it never had a conventional title but a Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin (MSO) that was surrendered to the county at the time of the placement of the home on the foundation.
