    Wireing a furnace fan motor
I have an older furnce, standing pilot type, and want to wire the fan so I can distribute the heat generated from our wood burning stove through the house using the furnace fan. I know I run a wire from the "G" terminal on the wall thermostat to the furnace, but where do I connect it to on furnace? I cannot find a relay of any type in the furnace.

Furnace Fan Motor not turning ON [ 3 Answers ]

Hi, The fan motor connected to my furnace blower (via a belt) is no longer turning ON reliably. I can hear the call for the motor to turn ON, but the mottor just "humms" then turns OFF. Then the cycle repeats itself. If I manually push the motor pulley during the "humm" then the motor...
