Toilet bowl water low, seems to be dripping, maybe something caught on p-trap part?
Over the weekend I noticed what sounded like dripping from my toilet, but it worked fine. Yesterday when I got home the bowl was almost empty. I flushed the toilet and it filled again only to drain really slow until most of the water is out. I figured its something in the trap as the toilet it maybe 1 year old, but my plunger was not large enough to get suction. The tank is filling fine. Any suggestions before calling a plumber out?

    Thanks in advance!

Can you give us more details?
I flushed the toilet and it filled again only to drain really slow until most of the water is out.
Did the toilet fill to the top, swirl around and slowly drain down?
Did it flush normally and the bowl level simply seep away? How long did it take? Any "gurgles" from any other traps when you flushed? Was something dropped in the bowl that night have cracked it? Please answer with more details. Tom

The tank fills normally, it flushes normally, but all the water does not go out of the bowl on the flush. The remainder of the water drains away slowly ~20min and its empty. No gurgles, but prior to the low water level, I heard dripping. I think it was from something caught in the trap but not a complete block and allowing some water through causing the drip. Nothing was dropped in the bowl, except normal bodily waste and toilet paper. The toilet is ~1 year old.
