I live and work in china, I don't have a w-2 do I put anything on line 7 in the 1040
I have a business in china and had it all year. All my income is in rmb and want to know what do I put on line 7 on the 1040. I have already done the 2555 and my total is 0. I am married to a Chinese girl and she does not have a SSN, so I have to file married filling separately.

    Thanks

If you are a U.S. citizen or resident, you will pay SE tax at 15.3% on your business income. Report on schedule C or C-EZ.
If you do not get salary or wages, put 0 on line 7.

You can file separate return or joint return. If you file joint return, attach W-7 (ITIN application) with your tax return. Both of you must report worldwide income.
