    Can you get a summons with a court date that's 10 days later
    If you get a summons is it possible to have a court date already assigned for 10 days later.

    Yes,it happens all the time. I assume you are talking about a summons for cc debt.

    Yes, if you need more time, you appear in court and ask them to continue to a latter date
