So why is one tonne the magic number? What led you to believe that is the output you need?

I don't see how in the world you can decide what your output should be without getting the info you are looking for first...

So... have you contacted suppliers for your area and asked about material costs? If not, why not?

Have you scouted out wages for labor in this area? Why not?

Where will you get the ovens and related equipment? Will you buy them? Use them? Rent out space at a local bakery?

Where will you sell the bread? Who will distribute it? What will this cost you? What kind of commitment do your retailers need in terms of capacity?

And on and on and on... I just don't understand how you decided one tonne is the amount you need to make without any financial data to start with.

Can you give a clearer picture of why you are deciding to start a bakery? Have you been baking and want to grow this into a business? Is there a special opportunity?

Chances are, we are not going to be able to give you the info you want... you are going to have to do the footwork... after all, you have access to local information that I simply would not...

But we probably can talk to you about some of the process of getting things started. I've had a small business that grew from a hobby, and I didn't have all the answers all the time... but I certainly made a number of choices based on some simple research.

    So... lets start over...

Explain why you want to start a bakery, your experience in this area, your access to materials and credit/savings, etc...
