    Can a compressor appliance like refrigerator be supported by a photovoltaic power?
    I'm doing an arch school project, encountering building a beach side bach that is powered by photovoltaic, I was told that it won't be able to generate enough power to run a fridge, I'm interested to know why?

Flat 3 wire power cord has 1 green wire and two black. But cover of power cords has grooves made around one of the black wires. How to know whick black wire goes to "black" connection and which black wire goes to "white" connection?
