    Canadian statute of limitations in civil court
    Hi,I would like to know.If you were convicted of assault causing bodily harm.Is there a statue of limitations on when the person assaulted can sue you in civil court for his injuries...

    Depends on how the lawsuit is intended and worded:

    General statute of limitations deadlines for some civil claims:

    Negligence/personal injury 1 to 2 years; Intentional injury 1 to 6 years.
