    A crack has appeared about 1 inch from the ceiling in my bedroom all around the room.
    A crack has appeared about 1 from from the ceiling around the entire room. I believe the walls are plaster. What does this indicate and who should I contact to repair?

    Could be many things i.e. wood lath, poorly filled gap at ceiling ,or separating drywall tape,call drywall or plaster guy for repair
