Hi I'm 19 and my ex is 18 we were together for 3 and a half years then things turned bad and arguing started and we both mis-trusted each other as we have both kissed someone else whilst being together. This mis-trust caused more arguments and we ended up breaking up.

We haven't been together for almost 3months now but she keeps contacting me from a with-held number so I can't get her number and one minute she says she wants to talk about getting back together then in the blink of an eye she changes her mind. Anyway I changed my number and stopped all contact with her then a week later she rings my house number to contact me and says she misses me and really wants to talk about getting back with me, so I met her about 5days later but it seemed as if nothing changed as we did not get anything sorted out and left it with her saying she needs more thinking time.

It's been a week since and she contacted me and said she is really confused still and now she wants to ring me in 3days and say whether she wants us again and if she will see me again so what shall I do??

I love her so much still and would do anything to have her back but I have been messed about with for the past 3months and know I should move on but find it so hard to when I'm being told there still may be a chance, but every 'chance' is a dead end and nothing solid gets decided.

You said it yourself, you know you need to move on. I suggest you go NC and stick to it. It's been three months since you broke up and now she keeps contacting you. She's probably just feeling lonely and she thinks you're a quick fix for that.

Be strong. You're so young and you have so much living and experiencing to do. You were together so long which is why this is so difficult. Learn from this experience. You said it yourself, You already know what you need to do.

Stop allowing her to play games with your mind and you don't have to worry about what she wants anymore.

No Contact whatsoever is the way to go.

Thank you for this advice it has already put things into perspective about how I think of her and how she thinks of me in all this mainly being I see her as a priority whereas I am just an option to her.
